As a graduate student, I have not only deepened my understanding of nursing theory and practice but also honed crucial leadership skills through my roles as a student orientation leader and a member of the student government association. Serving as an orientation leader allowed me to welcome and guide incoming students, sharing my experiences and helping them navigate the exciting journey ahead. Through my involvement in the student government association, I have had the opportunity to advocate for my fellow students, collaborating on initiatives to enhance campus life and promote student well-being.

Moreover, having the privilege to engage in meetings with the president of Chicago State University has been a transformative experience.
